It's been well over a year since a file called loudPrivacy Private cloud.txt 5 first surfaced on Telegram in January 2025, and the 2,359 login records inside it are still floating around dark web channels today. HEROIC's monitoring confirmed the dump remains active and traceable.

Why This Is Dangerous

Time doesn't erase a leaked password, it just gives it more chances to circulate. Every one of those 2,359 records is stored in plaintext with the matching email and URL attached, so even a leak from over a year ago can still work perfectly today if the victim never changed their credentials.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses tied to real accounts
  • Plaintext passwords with no encryption
  • URLs identifying the exact login page for each record
  • 2,359 total records in the "Private cloud.txt 5" file

Why This Matters

A lot of people asume an old leak is old news, but stolen credentials dont expire on there own. Passwords that were never rotated after this file first appeared are just as usable to an attacker today as they were the day it was uploaded.

How Stealer Logs Work

Files like loudPrivacy Private cloud.txt 5 come from infostealer malware that infects a device and quietly harvests saved browser passwords, autofill entries, and cookies. Once collected, the stolen batch is packaged and uploaded, and from there it can keep resurfacing on new channels and marketplaces long after the original infection happened.

Check If You Are Affected

If more than a year has passed since you last changed your passwords, now is a good time to check. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches over 400 billion compromised records, so you can see instantly whether this leak, or a newer one, still affects you.
