HEROIC found 17,216 stolen logins in a stealer log called EuropeClaud, uploaded to Telegram in January 2024. That is 17,216 individual combinations of an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the site where that password was in use, circulatd freely for over two years.

Why the EuropeCloud Breach Is Dangerous

Seventeen thousnds logins is a significant number for a single stealer log file. It means there are thousands of people whose bank logins, email accounts, social media accounts, and shopping credentials were exposed in one upload. Because the log dates to January 2024, anyone who downloaded it at the time has had two full years to attempt account takeovers using the data inside.

What Was Exposed in the EuropeCloud Leak

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs identifying which services each victim was actively using

Why This EuropeCloud Data Puts You at Risk

A 2024 stealer log exposng this volume of credentials remains a threat in 2026 because most people never change passwords unless a specific incident forces them to. An attacker with this file today can try every one of those 17,216 email and password combinations against any service they choose. With automated tools, that process takes minutes. If even a small percentage of those accounts are still active, the attacker gains access to real financial and personal accounts.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer malware infects computers through phishing links, cracked software, or pirated downloads. Once running, it harvests saved browser passwords and session data without alerting the user. The stolen data is sent to the attacker's server, packaged into a log file, and shared on Telegram or sold through dark web forums.
