2023-10-07_logsinspector: A Second Batch, Another Date, Same Oct 8 Release

October 8, 2023 saw two logsinspector batches distributed on Telegram: 2023-10-06_logsinspector (54,463 records) and 2023-10-07_logsinspector (26,494 records). Together they produce 80,957 logsinspector-sourced US plaintext credentials released on the same day. Where the Oct 6 batch carried a two-day assembly lag before its Oct 8 release, the Oct 7 batch carries a one-day lag -- assembled on October 7, released October 8. The date-stamped naming convention that made the first batch so distinctive applies equally here: the operator was systematically processing and dating their stealer log collections before releasing them as a coordinated two-batch deployment.

2023-10-07_logsinspector (October 2023): Stealer Log Summary

  • Records Exposed: 26,494
  • Data Types: Email addresses, plaintext passwords, URLs
  • Breach Type: Stealer log -- credentials harvested from malware-infected endpoints, not a direct database breach
  • Password Type: Plaintext -- captured directly from browser sessions and credential stores by infostealer malware
  • Country: United States
  • Date Leaked: October 8, 2023

Smaller Second Batch: Why the Volume Drops

The Oct 7 logsinspector batch (26,494) is roughly half the size of the Oct 6 batch (54,463). Several explanations fit: the Oct 7 collection period was shorter (one day rather than two or more), the Oct 6 batch represented a larger pre-assembled backlog while Oct 7 captures more recent additions, or the operator applied different quality or geographic filters to each batch. The two-batch structure -- releasing both the Oct 6 and Oct 7 processed collections simultaneously on Oct 8 -- suggests the operator ran logsinspector processing on consecutive days and distributed both outputs in a single Telegram session. The Oct 7 batch is a complement, not a replacement, for the Oct 6 release.

80,957 Combined logsinspector Records on October 8

Adding both logsinspector batches together, the operator distributed 80,957 US plaintext credentials on October 8, 2023. This places logsinspector among the top three single-operator contributors to October 8, alongside Monster Cloud (86,198 from eight batches) and GODELESS CLOUD (14,243). The combined logsinspector output was second only to Monster Cloud on October 8, making this operator one of the dominant forces of the cluster's opening day even before accounting for any October 9 or later releases from the same source.

Date-Stamped Workflow as Forensic Evidence

The consecutive dating of logsinspector batches -- Oct 6 and Oct 7, both released Oct 8 -- provides an unusually detailed window into how this operator processed stealer log material. Most channels obscure their assembly workflow; logsinspector's date-stamped naming inadvertently documents it. Each batch name is a production record: logs collected through October 6 formed one batch, logs collected through October 7 formed another, and both were released simultaneously on October 8 when the operator judged the volume sufficient for public distribution. This workflow transparency makes logsinspector one of the most analytically documentd channels in the October 2023 cluster.
