In January 2023, HEROIC analysts uncovered a stealer log named "3.2KK Private Mix Base" that had been uploaded to Telegram by an anonymous user. The file contained 3,190,952 records, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those logins were used on. A file of this size, shared freely on Telegram, put millions of login credentials within easy reach of anyone who found the channel.

Why the 3.2KK Private Mix Base Leak Is Dangerous

What makes this leak especially damaging is scale combined with simplicity. Each of the 3,190,952 records pairs a real email address with a plaintext password and the exact website it unlocks, so an attacker doesn't need to crack, guess, or decrypt anything. They can simply copy the login and try it. With millions of ready-to-use credentials in one file, attackers can automate account logins at massive speed across thousands of sites at once.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the associated login sites

Why This Matters

If you reused a password across multiple accounts, a leak like this can put all of them at risk at once. Attackers commonly take large plaintext credential sets and run them through automated tools against email providers, banking portals, and social media platforms, a technique known as credential stuffing. Because the passwords here are already in plaintext, there's no extra cracking step slowing an attacker down, which makes fast, large-scale account takeover far more likely.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs come from malware that infects a victim's device and silently harvests whatever is saved in their browser: stored passwords, autofill entries, and the web addresses tied to each login. The malware then bundles everything into a single file and sends it back to whoever controls it. Because the data reflects what was saved on the infected device at the time, it's often accurate, current, and immediately usable, which is exactly why files like this one circulate so widely on Telegram.
