In January 2023, a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file named "3.530KK Some Old DB But Good," exposing 2,668,729 records made up of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites those logins belong to. Despite the "old" in its name, the credentials inside remain fully usable by anyone who downloads the file.

Why an "Old But Good" Leak Is Still Dangerous

Criminals often reshare older stealer logs and combolists because a surprising number of the credentials inside still work years later. People reuse the same email and password across multiple accounts and rarely change a password unless they're forced to. At nearly 2.7 million records, this file gives attackers a huge head start, even if some of the data was first collected a while ago.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the sites the credentials belong to

Why This Matters

Because every password in this file is stored in plaintext and paired with the exact site it unlocks, it's built for credential stuffing: automated tools that plug the same login into banking portals, email providers, and online stores until one works. If your details are among the 2,668,729 exposed here, an attacker can skip straight to account takeover, and from there, identity theft and financial fraud become a real risk.

How This Telegram Combolist Was Assembled

Stealer malware infects a device and quietly copies whatever passwords and autofill data are saved in the browser, then sends that haul back to the attacker. Over time, criminals combine logs from many separate infections into a single large file, sometimes labeling it "old" simply because parts of it were collected earlier and have been circulating since. This 2.6 million record file was compiled that way and then shared through a Telegram channel for anyone to grab.

Check If You Are Affected

With millions of records in this single file, checking your own exposure only takes a moment. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches a database of more than 400 billion breached and leaked records, including stealer logs and combolists like this one, so you can find out quickly whether your email or passwords are part of it.
