HEROIC Analysts Flag 600 PCS Telegram Log Leak, 10,949 Records
600 PCS Free Logs: HEROIC Analysts Confirm 10,949 Records Leaked
HEROIC analysts spotted a stealer log file titled "600 PCS - 14 FEBRUARY - FREE LOGS" uploaded to a Telegram channel on 14 February 2024. Despite the "600" in its name, the verified count inside the file is 10,949 records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and the URL of the site the login was taken from.
Naming a file "free logs" is a common tactic among Telegram log sellers, used to attract downloads and build a following before charging for future, larger batches.
Why This Is Dangerous
Because each entry in this leak already includes the plaintext password and the exact URL it works on, an attacker can log in immediately without cracking anything. With nearly 11,000 records handed out for free, the barrier to entry for abusing this data is close to zero, meaning even low-skill attackers can act on it.
What Was Exposed in the 600 PCS Free Logs
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the associated login pages
Why This Matters
A free, widely distributed batch like this is prime material for credential stuffing, where automated tools test the same email and password across banking, email, and retail accounts. Password reuse turns one leaked login into a chain reaction of account takeover, identity theft, and financial fraud across services the victim never expected to be at risk.
How Stealer Logs Like This Circulate
Malware on an infected device silently collects saved browser credentials and packages them into a log file. Sellers on Telegram often release a portion of their haul as "free logs", exactly as seen with 600 PCS - 14 FEBRUARY, to prove the data is real and drive traffic to their paid offerings.
