OTTOMANGIFT Releases 107 Files With Only 70 Records -- October 20, 2023's Most Unusual Batch

On October 20, 2023, a Telegram channel operating under the name OTTOMANGIFT -- with the bot handle OTTOHELP for buyer interactions -- released a 107-file stealer log package containing only 70 US credential records. That math is striking: 107 files, 70 records, a per-file yield of ~0.65. Most of the files in this package were essentially empty or contained minimal data. In the context of a single-day cluster where prdscloud released 40,336 records and SNATCH_CLOUD released 10,809, the OTTOMANGIFT batch is not a meaningful credential source. It is, however, an interesting data point about how underground operators use "gift" releases to establish channel presence without committing significant inventory.

20 October OTTOMANGIFT OTTOHELP 107PCS (October 2023): Stealer Log Summary

  • Records Exposed: 70
  • Data Types: Email addresses, plaintext passwords, URLs
  • Breach Type: Stealer log -- credentials harvested from malware-infected endpoints, not a direct database breach
  • Password Type: Plaintext -- captured directly from browser sessions and credential stores by infostealer malware
  • Country: United States
  • Date Leaked: October 20, 2023

"GIFT" Releases: Channel Presence Without Inventory Commitment

The word "GIFT" in the operator name OTTOMANGIFT signals an intentional framing. This is not a sample intended to demonstrate harvest quality -- at ~0.65 records per file, it demonstrats almost nothing about yield. Instead, it's a channel visibility play: by releasing any named batch on October 20, the OTTOMANGIFT channel appears in breach tracking databases, Telegram search results, and threat intelligence feeds alongside larger and more credible operators. The release costs the operator virtually nothing (near-empty files require minimal actual compromise) while establishing the channel's existance in databases that researchers and buyers consult. It's a low-cost market entry maneuver, not a meaningful data release.

What 70 Records at Sub-1 Yield Reveals About the Operator

The ~0.65 rec/file yield in OTTOMANGIFT's 107-file batch is the lowest in the October 20-21, 2023 cluster by a considerable margin. The next-lowest is TOR_LOG MIX 162logs at ~14.6 rec/file. Several interpretations apply: the OTTOMANGIFT operator may be new to stealer log distribution and working with a very small initial harvest, may have deliberately released mostly empty files to inflate the visible file count while concealing the actual data volume, or may have repurposed already-distributed logs with most records removed before releasing as a "gift." Any of these interpretations suggests an operator at the early stages of channel building rather than an established player with significant harvesting infrastructure.

The October 20 Context: OTTOMANGIFT Alongside Heavyweight Operators

On October 20, 2023, OTTOMANGIFT's 70-record release shared a date with prdscloud (40,336 records), LOGS_CENTER (25,478), SNATCH_CLOUD (10,809), HUBHEAD_LOGS (5,724), STAKE_LOGS (4,165), CRYPTON_LOGS 2.0 (3,505), ANDRIANA CLOUDFREE LOGS (3,365), SMOKERCLOUD FREE LOGS (2,291), and TOR_LOG MIX 162logs (2,365). Against this backdrop, OTTOMANGIFT's 70 records are statistically insignificant -- less than 0.1% of the day's total exposed volume. But the breach record exists, the 70 US victims' credentials were genuinely exposed, and the channel name is now trackable in threat intelligence systems -- which may have been the entire point.

Check If Your Data Was Exposed

Even in small-volume releases like OTTOMANGIFT OTTOHELP 107PCS, real US credentials were exposed. HEROIC's free breach scanner searches more than 400 billion records -- including minor releases from the October 2023 cluster -- to determine whether your email address and credentials appear in any known breach dataset.
