The dataset contained 3,532 records drawn from infected endpoints across the United States, each containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the specific service URLs targeted during the infection. This was not a breach of a single company's database. The data was harvested device by device by malware running silently on victims' machines.
Why This Is Dangerous
