The all_hits Leak Sat Quiet Since May. 590 Accounts Are Exposed
In May 2026, HEROIC analysts identified a combolist file titled "all_hits" circulating after being uploaded by a Telegram user. The file contained 590 records pairing email addresses with plaintext passwords, along with associated URLs linking each credential to the site it was harvested from.
Why This Is Dangerous
Because the passwords in this list are stored in plaintext, anyone who downloads the file can read and use them immediately with no cracking required. Combined with the email addresses and URLs, an attacker has everything needed to log into an account exactly as if they were the real user.
What Was Exposed in the all_hits Leak
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs linking each credential to its source site
Why This Matters
Even a small leak like this one feeds directly into larger attack campaigns. Criminals combine lists like all_hits with dozens of others to build massive credential stuffing databases, testing stolen logins against banking, email, and shopping sites in bulk. If you reuse a password across multiple accounts, one exposed login can turn into many.
How a Combolist Attack Works
A combolist is a compiled file of username or email and password combinations, gathered from previous breaches, phishing campaigns, or malware infections and packaged together for easy reuse. Attackers load combolists into automated tools that attempt each pair against popular websites, a technique known as credential stuffing. Because the process is automated, a list of just a few hundred records can be tested against thousands of sites within minutes.
Check If You Are Affected
HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email address against more than 400 billion leaked records, including combolists like all_hits, to tell you if your credentials have been exposed. If you find a match, change the affected password immediately and avoid reusing it anywhere else.
