HEROIC analysts found a stealer log tied to alum.mit.edu that a Telegram user uploaded on 10 June 2026. The file contains 3,817 records, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the login pages those credentials belong to.


Why This Is Dangerous

Because the data comes from a stealer log, it was pulled directly off infected computers rather than an old database dump. That means the passwords are often the exact ones people are still using today. Stored in plaintext, they can be read and reused by an attacker instantly, and the matching URL points straight to the login page each credential unlocks.
