In May 2023, a threat actor on Telegram uploaded a stealer log package called Andriana CloudFree Logs, exposing 6,190 records of credentials silently harvested from infected devices across the United States. The dump contained plaintext passwords, email adresses, and URLs -- the product of malware quietly running in the background on victims' machines, capturing every login before it even reached the intended website. This breach is a textbook example of how modern infostealer malware operates at scale.

Why This Is Dangerous

The Andriana CloudFree Logs dump is dangerous precisely because the credentials are unencrypted. Attackers do not need to crack anything -- every password in this file is immediately usable. Combined with the email addresses and URLs that reveal which services victims were logging into, this dataset is a complete attack toolkit. Any account associated with an exposed email and password combination was at risk the moment this file was distributed on Telegram.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (login endpoints and API hosts)

Why This Matters

Stealer log dumps like Andriana CloudFree Logs do not expire. They get reindexed into credential databases, sold in bulk, and fed into automated stuffing tools that test your credentials against thousands of sites. The 6,190 accounts exposed in this May 2023 dump have been at risk for years. If you reuse passwords -- and statistically most people do -- a single exposed credential can unlock multiple accounts across banking, email, social media, and work platforms. The URL data in this dump makes it even worse, because attackers know exactly which services to target for each victm.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Infostealer malware is engineered to operate invisibly. Once it lands on a device -- through a phishing link, a fake software installer, a malicious ad, or a cracked game -- it begins harvesting immediately. It reads saved passwords directly from browser storage, captures keystrokes as you type new credentials, steals session cookies to bypass two-factor authentication, and records the URLs of every site you log into. All of this data is packaged into a structured log file and exfiltrated to the attacker's server, then sorted and bundled into distributable packages like the Andriana CloudFree Logs. The victim never recieves any notification -- there is no server-side breach alert because the breach happened on their own device.
