Password Type plaintext

In July 2025, a Telegram user posted a stealer log collection under the name "angel_money_cloud 402count" that exposed 25,960 records. Every single password in that file is in plaintext. Every email address is paired with the URL where it was used. There is no cracking required, no guessing involved -- the data is ready to use the moment someone downloads it. If your device was infected by the malware that assembled this log, your accounts are not safe right now.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are not like ordinary data breaches where passwords are hashed and cracking takes time. The malware that assembled the angel_money_cloud collection captured credentials at the moment you typed them or pulled them directly from your browser's credential store -- before any protection could be aplied. The resulting file is an instant-use toolkit for account takeover. Attackers do not need to be sophisticated. They download the file, paste the credentials into an automated tool, and start logging into accounts within minutes.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords (captured before encryption, immediately usable)
  • URLs (showing exactly which sites and services each password belongs to)

Why This Matters

The name "angel_money_cloud" is not accidental. Threat actors operating in the financial credential space frequently brand their log channels to signal the type of accounts they prioritize. Financial platforms, payment processors, and cloud-based money services are high-value targets because a single compromised account can yield direct monetery loss for the victim. With 25,960 records in this dump, the attackers had a substantial pool of potential financial account credentials to work through. If your banking, PayPal, crypto, or any cloud financial service password was saved in your browser, it may be in this file.

How Stealer Logs Work

Info-stealer malware reaches your device through phishing emails, cracked software, or malicious browser extensions. Once installed, it runs invisibly in the background -- reading your browser's saved passwords, capturing keystrokes, stealing session cookies, and recording every URL you visit while logged in. All of this is compiled into a structured log file and sent to the threat actor automatically. The "402count" in the package name refers to the number of log files in this particular collection, each representing a seperate infected device. That means 402 real people had their credentials silently harvested before this was published on Telegram.
