Aurora Infostealer's Distribution Methods

Buyers -- known as affiliates -- purchase access and handle distribution themselves, which creates a decentrlized infection network with multiple simultaneous campaigns running at once. Common distribution vectors include phishing emails containing malicious attachments or links to compromised download pages, malvertising campaigns that serve malicious ads on legitimate websites redirecting victims to drive-by download sites, trojanized software installers that bundle Aurora alongside legitimate applications like productivity tools, game mods, or media software, and YouTube tutorials or social media posts promoting cracked software that secretly packages the malware.
