The BabaCloudLogs Dump Contains Exactly 1,033 Leaked Password Pairs
HEROIC analysts found a stealer log labeled BabaCloudLogs uploaded to a Telegram channel on September 17, 2025. The file was smaller than many dumps we track, containing exactly 1,033 records, but every record includes an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL the credentials belong to. Small scale does not mean small risk: every one of those 1,033 accounts is immediately usable by whoever downloads the file.
Why This Is Dangerous
Because the passwords are stored in plaintext, there is no cracking or guessing involved. Anyone who grabs this file can match each email address to its password and the exact site it unlocks, then attempt to log in directly. For the 1,033 people in this dataset, that means their accounts could be accessed by a stranger with no technical skill required.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs tied to each set of credentials
Why This Matters
Even a modest stealer log like this one feeds into credential stuffing, where attackers take a batch of stolen email and password pairs and try them against banks, email providers, and shopping sites in bulk. If any of the 1,033 people in this leak reused a password elsewhere, that single reused password can open the door to account takeover, identity theft, or financial fraud well beyond the original 1,033 accounts.
How Stealer Logs Work
A stealer log comes from infostealer malware that infects a device, typically through a cracked program, fake update, or phishing link. Once active, it quietly copies saved passwords, browser autofill data, and session details, then packages them into a file. That file, in this case named BabaCloudLogs, is then uploaded to a Telegram channel where it can be downloaded by anyone with access, regardless of how large or small the record count is.
