The BabaCloudLogs Leak Gave Hackers 18,897 Ready-to-Use Logins
BabaCloudLogs Leak Hands Attackers 18,897 Ready-to-Use Logins
HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file labeled "BabaCloudLogs 400 Cloud Logs" that a Telegram user uploaded on September 28, 2025. The file contained 18,897 records, each pairing an email address with a plaintext password and the URL of the login page it belongs to. Nothing in this file needs to be cracked or decoded, it is ready to use the moment someone downloads it.
Why This Is Dangerous
Whoever holds this file has everything needed to log into 18,897 accounts right now. The email address tells them who to target, the plaintext password gives them the key, and the URL points them straight to the login page. There is no technical skill required, just a list and a few minutes of typing.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the associated login pages
Why This Matters
A leak this size gives attackers plenty of raw material for credential stuffing, where automated tools test each stolen email and password pair against other popular sites. Anyone who reused this password elsewhere is exposed to account takeover, identity theft, or direct financial fraud on accounts that had nothing to do with the original leak.
How Stealer Logs Work
A stealer log comes from infostealer malware that infects a device through a malicious download, cracked software, or a phishing link. Once installed, it quietly harvests saved browser passwords, autofill data, and session details, then bundles everything into a log file. These files are commonly shared or sold on Telegram channels shortly after collection, which is exactly how BabaCloudLogs became public.
