BabaCloudLogs Stealer Log Targets Cloud Users With 937 Leaked Logins
HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log dataset known as BabaCloudLogs 244 Cloud Logs, uploaded to a Telegram channel on 15 August 2025. The file contains 937 records pulled from infected devices, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the cloud services those credentials belong to. Because the passwords are stored in plaintext, no cracking or decryption is required before an attacker can use them.
Why This Is Dangerous
Every record in this leak links a working email and password directly to the cloud service it unlocks. That combination is far more dangerous than a password alone, because an attacker does not have to guess where to try it. With cloud infrastructure involved, a compromised login could expose far more than a single account, potentially reaching stored files, connected applications, or administrative tools tied to that cloud service.
What Was Exposed
- Email addresses
- Plaintext passwords
- URLs of the associated cloud login pages and services
Why This Matters
Cloud accounts are frequently the hub that other services connect to, from file storage to email to business applications. If any of the 937 people in this leak reused their password elsewhere, attackers can attempt the same login across banking, email, and shopping sites through credential stuffing. A compromised cloud login can just as easily lead to account takeover, exposed files, or fraud carried out under the victim's identity.
How Stealer Log Breaches Work
Stealer logs come from malware quietly running on an infected device rather than from a company being hacked directly. The malware harvests saved browser passwords, autofill data, and login sessions, then compiles them into a log file that is sent back to whoever controls the malware. Files like BabaCloudLogs 244 Cloud Logs are commonly shared or sold through Telegram channels, where they can circulate widely and cheaply. Because the data is captured straight from the victim's device, the credentials tend to still be valid at the time the log is shared.
