HEROIC found that on March 24, 2022, a Stealer log file identified as berserklogs was uploaded by a Telegram user, exposing 6,044 records containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs from the United States.

Why the berserklogs Breach Is Dangerous

Attackers with this file have direct, unencrypted access to 6,044 email and password pairs. No cracking, no decryption, no guessing. The plaintext format means credentials can be tested immediately against banking portals, email providers, and subscription platforms using automated stuffing tools. The associated URL data further narrows attacker focus by revealing exactly which services each victim was actively using.

What Was Exposed in the berserklogs Leak

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs revealing the login endpoints and services victims accessed

Why This berserklogs Data Puts You at Risk

Once distributed on Telegram, stealer log credentials circulate through criminal networks quickly. Attackers run automated tools that test each email and password pair across dozens of platforms within minutes of obtaining the file. Anyone who reuses the exposed password on other accounts faces immediate risk of account takeover, financial fraud, and identity theft cascading from a single compromised login.

How Stealer log Works

Stealer malware is typically hidden inside pirated software downloads, fake browser updates, or phishing email attachments. After installation it silently extracts every saved password, autofill entry, and session cookie stored in the victim's browsers, then bundles this data into a structured log. The log is uploaded to Telegram channels where other criminals download it and begin exploiting the credentials immediately.
