HEROIC analysts identified and verified a stealer log breach labeled BR n US, uploaded to Telegram in February 2026. The file contains 11,893 records targeting users primarily in Brazil and the United States. Each record includes an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of a specific service or platform the victim was accessing. With that combination, attackers do not need to do any additional work. The credentials are ready to use.

Why This Is Dangerous for Brazilian and US Account Holders

The BR n US label tells us something important: this file was deliberately assembled from victims in two specific countries. That kind of targeting is common in stealer log operations where attackers focus on high-value regions with strong internet penetration and active online banking and e-commerce use.

Plaintext passwords make this breach especially serious. There is no encryption to overcome, no hash to crack. An attacker downloads the file and immediately has working credentials. The URLs included in each record show exactly which platforms the stolen passwords belong to, so the attacker knows precisely where to try logging in first. This breach definately represents a ready-to-deploy attack kit for anyone who obtained it.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (specific platforms and services)

Why This Matters: Credential Stuffing, Account Takeover, and Financial Fraud

When email and password pairs are leaked together, attackers run them through automated tools that test the credentials across hundreds of websites at once. This is called credential stuffing, and it works most effectively when victims reuse the same password across multiple accounts.

A single exposed login from this breach could lead to takeover of an email account, which in turn allows an attacker to reset passwords on banking portals, intercept authentication codes, and drain financial accounts. Identity theft follows naturally when someone controls your inbox. In markets like Brazil and the US, where digital banking is widespread, the downstream risk from a breach like this is significant.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer logs are produced by malware that infects a device silently. The malware typically arrives via a phishing email, a fake software installer, or a malicious ad. Once installed, it harvests every saved password from browsers on the device, records keystrokes, and logs the URLs the victim navigates to.

All of that data gets packaged into a log file and sent back to the attacker. These files are then compiled with logs from many other infected devices and shared or sold on Telegram channels and dark web forums. The BR n US file was one such compilation, and the 11,893 records inside it were recieved from real users whose devices were compromised at some point before the file was posted.
