In April 2023, 6,942 stolen credentials from the Bugatti Cloud stealer log collection surfaced on dark web Telegram channels. The records -- part of a multi-file dump distributed under the Bugatti_Man handle -- included email adresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs from endpoints that were actively accessed at the time of infection. The data was uploaded on April 28, 2023, and has been indexed by breach monitoring systems tracking stealer log distribution networks.

Why This Is Dangerous

Plaintext passwords eliminate the biggest obstacle attackers normally face when using stolen credentials. There is no cracking step, no hash reversal, no dictionary attack -- the passwords work immediately. With 6,942 ready-to-use credential pairs and a list of URLs showing exactly which sites each victim was using, an attacker has a precise, executable attack plan. Credential stuffing tools can cycle through these combinations across hundreds of platforms within hours of acquiring the file.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs and API Endpoint Data

Why This Matters

The Bugatti Cloud series represents a coordinated multi-part distribution rather than a single isolated leak. Part023 is one of dozens of files released in the same upload window, each containing a subset of harvested data. This pattern suggests the underlying infostealer campaign was large-scale and systematic. For anyone whose credentials appear in this file, the risk is not limitted to the sites listed in the URLs -- password reuse means every account sharing the same credentials is potentialy exposed. Business accounts, financial services, and email platforms are frequent secondary targets once an initial credential set is obtained.

How Stealer Logs Work

Infostealer malware infects a device through phishing emails, fake software downloads, or malicious files shared in online communities. After installation, it runs silently and continuously harvests saved browser passwords, session cookies, and credentials entered into any website the user visits. The data is packaged into structured log files -- organized by device, site, or credential type -- and transmitted to the attacker. These logs are then distributed or sold via Telegram channels, often in bulk collections like the Bugatti Cloud series. The entire exfiltration process can complete within minutes, long before any detection or response is possible.
