Bugatti_Cloud Part070 Stealer Log: 2,136 Records Exposed

In April 2023, HEROIC's DarkHive threat intelligence platform identified another segment of the Bugatti_Cloud stealer log series, labeled "Bugatti_Man 18.04.part070," uploaded by a Telegram user. This particular archive contained 2,136 compromised records harvested from malware-infected endpoints, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs where those credentials were captured. Despite its smaller size relative to other parts in the series, the dataset still represents thousands of real individuals whose devices were compromised by info-stealing malware.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

Even with 2,136 records, this stealer log poses a serious threat to every individual included in it. The passwords are stored in plaintext with zero encryption, meaning attackers can begin exploiting them the moment they obtain the file. Each record also includes the exact URL where the credentials were used, giving criminals a clear map of which accounts to target. Stealer log data is particularly dangerous because it captures credentials that were activley in use at the time of infection, not stale or abandoned passwords. Attackers frequently combine smaller log segments like this one with other parts of the same collection to build comprehensive credential databases for large-scale account takeover campaigns.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (websites and login pages where credentials were entered)

Why This Matters

Credential stuffing and account takeover attacks thrive on datasets exactly like this one. With working email-password pairs and the associated service URLs, attackers can automate login attempts across hundreds of platforms in minutes. Password reuse means that a single compromised credential from this log could give an attacker access to a victim's email, financial accounts, social media profiles, and workplace systems. Email accounts are especially high-value targets because they function as the master key for password resets on nearly every other online service. Identity theft, financial fraud, and unauthorized access to corporate networks are all realistic outcomes when stealer log credentials are exploited.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer logs are generated by info-stealing malware variants including RedLine, Raccoon, Vidar, and Lumma. These programs spread through phishing emails, malicious advertisements, fake software downloads, and cracked application installers. When a victim's device becomes infected, the malware silently extracts saved passwords from web browsers, session cookies, autofill data, and sometimes cryptocurrency wallet informaton. The harvested credentials are organized into log files and sent to command-and-control servers operated by threat actors. These logs are then distributed through dark web forums and Telegram channels, where they are traded, sold, or given away to build criminal reputaton. The Bugatti_Cloud collection represents a multi-part archive where each segment contains credentials from a different batch of compromised devices.
