In May 2023, a Telegram-based threat actor distributed the Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man 17.05.part062 stealer log archive to criminal communities, exposing 15,892 records harvested from infected endpoints. The dataset contains email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs capturing exactly which services victims were authenticated to at the moment of infection. To put 15,892 in perspective, that is more people than live in the city of Georgetown, Delaware -- every one of them now at risk of account takeover from a single Telegram upload.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer log dumps are among the most immedietly weaponizable data sets circulating on criminal platforms. Because the Bugatti_Cloud archive contains plaintext passwords, attackers need no cracking tools -- credentials work directly in automated login scripts. The accompanying URLs reveal precisely which banking portals, email platforms, and corporate systems each victim was using, allowing attackers to prioritize high-value targets from the pool of 15,892 records. Free Telegram distribution puts these credentials in dozens of criminal hands within hours of posting, multiplying the attack surface exponentially.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses -- 15,892 unique records
  • Plaintext passwords captured live from browser sessions and saved credential stores
  • URLs showing which websites and services victims were actively authenticated to
  • Endpoint identifiers linking credentials to specific infected devices
  • API host data exposing application-level credentials and service tokens

Why This Matters

When plaintext email and password pairs circulate freely on Telegram, the downstream damage scales fast. Credential stuffing tools test these 15,892 combinations across banking, e-commerce, and corporate VPN platforms simultaneously. A single reused password cascades into full account takeover across multiple services. Victims face unauthorised financial transactions, locked accounts, and identity theft enabled by personal information found inside compromised email inboxes. Organisations whose employees appear in this dataset face potentail ransomware exposure through reused corporate credentials.

How Stealer Logs Work

Infostealer malware arrives through phishing emails, trojanised software downloads, and malicious browser extensions. After silently installing on a victim's device, it harvests every stored credential from browser profiles -- saved passwords, active session cookies, and form autofill data. The stolen data is packaged into a structured log file and transmitted to the operator's infrastructure. Operators like Bugatti_Cloud then distribute these files through named Telegram channels, releasing archive segments like part062 to signal volume and build reputaton in criminal communities before monetizing premium batches.
