9,661 Accounts Exposed in the "Bugatti_Cloud" Stealer Log

HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file labeled "Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man 22.05.part04" uploaded to a private Telegram channel. The data itself dates back to May 22, 2024, and contains 9,661 records of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the sites where each login was captured.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

Unlike a typical breach where a single company's database is stolen, a stealer log is pulled directly from infected computers, capturing whatever usernames and passwords the victim typed or had saved in their browser at the time. Because the URLs are included alongside each credential, an attacker can see exactly which website each login belongs to and try it immediately, with no guesswork involved.

What Was Exposed in the "Bugatti_Cloud" Stealer Log

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs for each site where credentials were captured

Why This Matters Even Years After the Original Infection

Stealer log data like this can circulate on Telegram and dark web forums long after it was first collected, and passwords do not expire on their own. If you have not changed a password since May 2024 and it appears in this file, an attacker could still use it today for credential stuffing, account takeover, or to access personal and financial information tied to that login.

How Stealer Logs Like This One Are Created

Stealer logs come from malware, often called info-stealers, that infects a victim's computer and quietly copies saved passwords, browser autofill data, and login sessions before sending everything back to the attacker. The stolen data is then packaged into files like this one and sold or shared in Telegram channels, sometimes years after the original infection, making it valuable to buyers who want fresh accounts to test.

Check If You Are Affected

Because stealer log data can resurface long after it was first stolen, it is worth checking whether your information is part of this leak or any other breach. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion exposed records so you can find out and reset any passwords you have not changed recently.
