5,108 Plaintext Passwords From the Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man Log Just Surfaced on Telegram
HEROIC analysts identified the Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man 20.09.part29 stealer log during a review of underground Telegram activity in September 2023. This segment of the collection contained 5,108 records stripped from compromised devices, each including an email address, a plaintext password, and the URL of the website the credentials were taken from. Like other parts of this series, the data was assembled using information-stealing malware and distributed through private Telegram channels frequented by threat actors.
Why the Bugatti_Cloud Part 29 Stealer Data Is Immediately Weaponizable
Stealer log data requires no additional processing before it can be misused. Every password in this dataset is already in plaintext, and every URL tells attackers exactly which login page to target. Criminals who acess files like this can begin hitting real accounts within minutes. Because many people reuse the same password across multiple services, a single stolen credential can unlock accounts at banks, email providers, shopping platforms, and workplace tools simultaneously. Victims typically do not recieve any notification and may remain unaware their accounts have been breached for weeks or months.
What Was Exposed in the Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man Part 29 Log
- Email Addresses
- Plaintext Passwords
- URLs (the exact websites the credentials were captured from)
Why This Matters for Identity Theft and Financial Fraud
When a criminal gains access to a victim's email account using stolen credentials, they can reset the password on virtually every other service linked to that address. This chain of account takeovers can lead to unauthorized transactions, fraudulent loan applications, and identity theft that is difficult and time-consuming to reverse. Credential stuffing attacks fueled by stealer log data are one of the most common ways consumers lose control of their financial accounts. The risk is definately compounded for anyone who has not recently changed their passwords or activated two-factor authentication.
How Stealer Log Files Are Built and Shared
Information stealer malware spreads through phishing links, fake software installers, and malicious browser add-ons. Once installed, it silently harvests login credentials saved in browsers, collects session cookies, and records keystrokes to capture passwords entered manually. All of this data is sent back to the attacker in structured log files. These files are then sorted and packaged before being posted to Telegram channels or dark web marketplaces where other criminals can obtain them. The Bugatti_Cloud Bugatti_Man series is one such package that has been circulating since September 2023.
