HEROIC analysts found the Cloud_Rolex_3 stealer log file on May 30, 2025, when an anonymous user posted it to a public Telegram channel. The file contained 9,766 records harvested from compromised endpoints, spanning email addresses, plaintext passwords, and API host URLs. The Cloud_Rolex naming pattern flagged this as part of a recurring series of stealer log distributions that our team had been monitoring, making the discovery an expected but still urgent concern.

Why This Is Dangerous

Even at under 10,000 records, this leak is a practical threat to everyone whose data appears in it. Plaintext passwords remove every technicall barrier between a criminal and your accounts. Combined with email addresses and API host URLs, an attacker has everything needed to target personal accounts and cloud services directly. API credentials in particular can unlock access to automated systems, developer tools, and cloud platforms that most people do not think about until something goes wrong and they realize somone has been inside their infrastructure for weeks.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • API Host URLs

Why This Matters

Credential leaks from stealer logs feed directly into account takeover attacks, identity theft, and in cases involving API access, broader data breaches at companies. When someone's cloud account gets compromised through a stolen credential, the attacker may gain access to files, contacts, emails, and connected applications. From there, they can reset passwords on other services, lock the legitamate owner out entirely, and use the account to launch further attacks. The cycle is difficult to stop once it starts, which is why catching your exposure early is so important.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log is the output of infostealer malware that ran on someone's real device. The malware typically arrives disguised as something harmless, a game mod, a cracked software tool, or a phishing link. Once it runs, it searches the device for saved passwords in browsers and apps, active session cookies, and any API keys or tokens in configuration files. All of it gets sent back to the attacker as a structured log file. That file then circulates on dark web markets or Telegram channels, sometimes for a few dollars and sometimes for free. Cloud_Rolex_3 is one of these files, likely named by the person who assembled and distributed it.

Check If You Are Affected

HEROIC's free scanner covers over 400 billion exposed records and includes stealer log data like the Cloud_Rolex_3 dump. Enter your email address to find out in seconds if your information was exposed. If you appear in results, change your passwords right away, especially for cloud accounts and any service where you may have reused a password. Turning on two-factor authentication wherever you can adds a critical second layer of protection that makes stolen passwords far less useful to attackers.
