Records Exposed 555
Source Type Stealer log
Origin Telegram
Password Type plaintext

In January 2026, a Telegram user quietly uploaded a file called Cloud_Rolex containing 555 stolen credential records. The log included plaintext passwords, email adresses, and the exact URLs of the accounts that were compromised. If you use any cloud services or APIs and have not recently audited your login credentials, this breach is worth taking seriously. Stealer logs like this one are often the first step in a chain of attacks that escalate into full account takeovers or identity theft.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs expose credentials in their rawest, most exploitable form. Because the passwords in this leak are plaintext, anyone who obtains the file can immediately attempt to log into every account listed without any cracking or decryption. The URLs included in the data make it even worse: attackers know exactly which services to target. This is not a theoretical risk. Criminals actively purchase and trade stealer logs on Telegram channels and dark web forums, and they begin testing credentials within hours of acquring a new file.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (specific endpoints and services accessed by compromised accounts)

Why This Matters

Even though this breach only affected 555 records, the quality of the data makes it high-value for attackers. Credential stuffing campaigns do not need millions of records to cause serious damage. A single plaintext password reused across multiple services can give an attacker access to banking, email, and cloud storage accounts simultaneously. The targeted nature of stealer logs, which capture credentials from real user sessions, means the data is almost certainly current and accurate. This breach is also part of a broader wave of malware-driven credential harvesting that cybersecurity researchers have been tracking throughout late 2025 and into 2026.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer logs are generated by a category of malware called information stealers. Once installed on a victim's device, the malware silently records credentials as users type them into browsers and applications. It captures the username, password, and the URL of the site being accessed, then bundles everything into a log file. That file is sent back to the attacker's command-and-control server. From there, the logs are often sold or shared via Telegram channels and dark web markets. The Cloud_Rolex log follows this exact pattern, originating from compromised user endpoints rather than a direct breach of a company's servers.

Check If You Are Affected

HEROIC's free breach scanner searches across more than 400 billion records, including stealer logs like Cloud_Rolex, to tell you whether your email address has appeared in known data leaks. If your credentials are in this database, you need to change your passwords immediately and enable multi-factor authenticaton on every account you can. Do not wait. Attackers are already using these credentials. Search your email now at HEROIC and take action before someone else does.
