A stealer log going by the name cloud t22 surfaced on Telegram in April 2026, and when HEROIC analysts dug into it the numbers were hard to ignore. The file contained 705,009 records, each one a little snapshot of someone's browser at the moment their device got infected with malware.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are different from your typical company-got-hacked breach. Instead of one organization losing a database, this is hundreds of thousands of individual computers that got infected one at a time, each one quietly handing over whatever was saved in the browser. Attackers recieve everything already paired together, the password, the email, and the exact site it unlocks, so they don't even have to guess which login goes where.

What Was Exposed

  • 705,009 total records
  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs tied to each login

Why This Matters

Because the passwords here were stored as plaintext, anyone who gets this file doesn't need to crack or decrypt a thing, they can copy, paste, and start logging in right away. If you or someone you know used the infected device, its definately worth changing the passwords tied to any accounts you access from it, especially email, banking, and work logins.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log is created when malware, often hidden inside a cracked game, pirated software, or a shady download, quietly installs itself on a victim's computer. Once running, it scans the browser for saved passwords, autofill data, and cookies, then bundles everything into a text file and sends it back to whoever controls the malware. From there, logs like this one get traded, sold, or dumped for free on Telegram channels, which is exactly how the cloud t22 file made its way online.
