HEROIC dark web analysts identified and confirmed the Cloud Temshik stealer log dataset, a collection of 5,786 credential records uploaded to Telegram in May 2023 by an anonymous threat actor. Intelligence gathered from our dark web monitoring network indicates this dataset contains plaintext passwords, email addresses, and the exact URLs of websites each victim was actively logged into at the time of infection. The data was not obtained through a server hack. It was silently extracted from compromised devices by infostealer malware and distributed freely across Telegram channels where cybercriminals routinely share and exploit such collections.
