In June 2026, a threat actor uploaded a stealer log file to a Telegram channel containing 15,990 sets of stolen login data tied to crosswinds.net email addresses. The file, harvested from malware-infected devices, included plaintext passwords and the exact URLs those credentials unlock. The data was marked as leaked on 10-Jun-2026 and is now circulating among criminal groups who buy and trade these logs for account takeover and fraud.

This is not a breach of crosswinds.net's own servers. The credentials were stolen directly from the computers of individual users who had malware quietly running in the background, logging every username and password typed into a browser. Crosswinds.net is simply the domain that shows up repeatedly in the stolen data.

Why a 15,990-Record Stealer Log Is More Dangerous Than It Sounds

Fifteen thousand accounts might sound small next to headline-grabbing breaches involving hundreds of millions of records, but stealer logs carry a unique risk. Because the malware captures passwords in plaintext, exactly as the victim typed them, there is no encryption standing between the thief and the account. Anyone who buys this log can log in immediately, no cracking required.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses tied to crosswinds.net accounts and the other services those addresses were used to log into
  • Plaintext passwords, captured in the clear with no hashing or encryption to slow down attackers
  • URLs showing precisely which websites and login pages each set of credentials unlocks

Why This Matters for Anyone Using a Crosswinds.net Address

If your email and password appear in this log, the danger goes well beyond a single account. Most people reuse passwords across multiple sites, so criminals routinely take a credential pair like this and try it against banking portals, email providers, and shopping accounts in a tactic known as credential stuffing. A successful match hands over full account takeover, and from there it is a short step to identity theft or direct financial fraud.

How This Telegram-Distributed Stealer Log Attack Works

Stealer log malware is typically installed through a fake software crack, a malicious download, or a booby-trapped email attachment. Once running, it silently records everything typed into browser login forms, then packages the stolen usernames, passwords, and site URLs into a single log file. That file gets uploaded to a Telegram channel, where it is shared, sold, or traded among other criminals looking for fresh credentials to exploit.
