The log was uploaded by an anonymous Telegram user on November 6th, 2023, and contained 4,948 records scraped directly from infected endpoint devices. The exposed data included email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs tied to API hosts and web services. What makes this discovery particularly alarming is that the passwords were stored and leaked in plaintext, meaning no additional cracking or decryption was needed to use them.
Why This Is Dangerous
When passwords are leaked in plaintext, anyone who downloads the file can immediately log into the affected accounts. There is no barrier. Attackers do not need special tools or technical knowledge.
