CRYPTON_LOGS 2.0 Was Collected Months Ago. The 4,767 Plaintext Passwords Just Hit Telegram.
HEROIC analysts identified the CRYPTON_LOGS 2.0 249PCS dataset when it surfaced on a public Telegram channel in April 2024. The log file contained 4,767 records harvested from compromised endpoints by infostealer malware. Each record included raw email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of targeted services. Unlike breaches that expose hashed credentials, this leak gave threat actors immediate, ready-to-use login data with zero additional processing required.
Why This Stealer Log Is Especially Dangerous
