A Fresh Infostealer Dump Hit Telegram in October 2024

On October 24, 2024, an anonymous user pushed a file labeled CRYPTON_LOGS 299PCS into a public Telegram channel. The archive contained 5,959 credential records pulled directly from computers infected with infostealer malware. Because the file was freely shared rather than sold, thousands of threat actors now have copies they can mine for working logins across banking, email, gaming, and workplace platforms.

Why This Leak Is Especially Dangerous

Everything in this drop is already readable. There are no hashes to crack and no encryption to bypass. Once a credential hits a public Telegram log like CRYPTON_LOGS, it moves quickly into automated credential stuffing bots that test the pair against hundreds of popular services in minutes. Victims often lose access to accounts before they even hear that a leak occurred.

What Was Exposed in the CRYPTON_LOGS Drop

  • 5,959 email addresses from compromised endpoints
  • Plaintext passwords captured from browsers and apps
  • Login URLs pointing to banks, social platforms, and SaaS tools
  • Session context that helps attackers bypass basic security checks

Why This Matters for You

Stealer logs rarely stop at one account. Because infostealers grab every credential saved on an infected device, one entry in CRYPTON_LOGS can unlock years of saved logins. Reused passwords compound the risk, since a single exposed pair can cascade into ten or more account takeovers.

How Infostealer Dumps Like This Operate

Infostealer malware is typically delivered through cracked software, fake updates, malicious YouTube links, or phishing emails. Once it runs, it extracts browser-saved passwords, cookies, autofill entries, and cryptocurrency wallets. The operator packages everything into logs such as CRYPTON_LOGS 299PCS and shares them on Telegram to build reputation or drive traffic to paid channels.
