1,553,373 Passwords Spilled From the CRYPTON_TXT Stealer Log
A file quietly labeled CRYPTON_TXT 01.11 surfaced in a Telegram channel on 01 November 2025, and inside it sat 1,553,373 lines of stolen login data. There was no press release and no warning, just a plain text dump that anyone with a Telegram account could grab.
Why This Is Dangerous
Nothing about a stealer log announces itself. Unlike a hacked corporate database, this kind of file skips past most defenses entirely because it comes straight from the victim's own infected computer. The passwords sitting inside are current, working, and ready to be tested the moment somebody downloads the file.
What Was Exposed
- Just over 1.55 million individual login records bundled into a single file
- Email addresses belonging to real people, not test accounts
- Passwords stored as plain, readable text with no scrambling involved
- Website and service URLs showing precisely where each login is used
Why This Matters
A leak of this size doesn't stay contained to one criminal's hard drive for long. Copies get traded, resold, and folded into bigger combolists that attackers run against hundreds of sites at once. It's neccessary to treat every one of these 1,553,373 records as a live threat, not a statistic to skim past.
Where a File Like CRYPTON_TXT Comes From
Stealer malware doesn't ask permission. It rides in through a cracked application, a fake software crack, or an attachment that looked harmless enough to open, then sits quietly in the background reading whatever the browser has saved: usernames, passwords, cookies, even autofill card numbers. Within minutes it packages the haul and sends it to whoever is running the campaign.
From there the file gets uploaded to Telegram groups exactly like the one behind this leak, often labeled with a date and record count so buyers know what they're getting before they pay, or in this case, download it for free.
