On May 1, 2026, a Telegram channel that specializes in trading stolen data quietly dropped a file labeled CVV190 Cloud 2. Buried inside were 7,443 individual records pulled straight from infected computers, most of them tied to users in the United States. There was no ransom note, no press release, just a raw dump handed out to anyone willing to grab it.

Why This Is Dangerous

What makes this leak so concerning isn't the size, it's the format. The passwords inside weren't hashed or scrambled in any way, they were sitting in plaintext right next to the email addresses they belong to. Anyone who downloads this file doesn't need to crack anything, they can copy and paste a username and password combo directly into a login page and see what happens.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses tied to real people and accounts
  • Plaintext passwords with no encryption to slow anyone down
  • URLs showing exactly which websites and services each login belongs to

Why This Matters

Most people don't relize how much damage a single stolen login can cause when it's paired with the exact URL it was used on. If someone reuses that password anywhere else, a bank account, a work email, a social media profile, an attacker already has the roadmap to try it. This isn't a theoretical risk, it's a ready-made list for criminals to work through.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer malware doesn't need to breach a company's servers. It infects a single device, often through a cracked game, a fake software download, or a malicious email attachment, and then quietly harvests everything saved in the browser: stored passwords, autofill data, session cookies, and browsing history. All of that gets packaged into a "log" and shipped to the attacker's server, then resold or given away on Telegram, exactly like what happened here.
