In February 2026, HEROIC analysts found a stealer log tied to the Telegram account "CyanoticCloud" circulating in a private channel. The file contained 1,454 records harvested from infected devices, including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs each login was tied to. HEROIC's monitoring team flagged the file shortly after it appeared, allowing analysts to confirm the scope of the exposure before it spread further.

Why This Is Dangerous

What makes this leak dangerous is how immediately usable it is. Each of the 1,454 records pairs a specific email address with its plaintext password and the exact site it belongs to, so an attacker can log directly into an account without cracking or guessing anything. Because stealer logs like this one are often shared or resold quickly after they surface, the window between discovery and misuse can be extremely short.

What Was Exposed

This leak included the following data types:

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs linked to each set of credentials

Why This Matters

Even at 1,454 records, this stealer log is exactly the kind of data that feeds credential stuffing attacks, where stolen email and password pairs are tested automatically against banking, email, and social media logins. Because so many people reuse the same password across multiple accounts, exposure in a leak like this can lead to account takeover on services that have nothing to do with the original infection. Smaller logs like this one are also frequently combined with others to build larger combolists over time.

How Stealer Logs Work

A stealer log is generated by information-stealing malware, malicious software that infects a device through cracked programs, fake downloads, or phishing attachments. Once active, it collects saved browser passwords, autofill data, and active sessions, then packages everything into a file that gets sent back to the attacker. Files like this one are often posted to private Telegram channels first, which is why HEROIC actively monitors these channels to catch new leaks like CyanoticCloud as soon as they appear.

Check If You Are Affected

Because HEROIC analysts caught this leak early, checking your exposure now gives you a head start on protecting your accounts. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion leaked records, including stealer logs like this one, so you can find out in seconds and change any reused passwords before an attacker gets the chance to use them.
