On July 3, 2025, a threat actor uploaded the dadin_cloud 644count stealer log to a private Telegram channel, exposing 32,700 records harvested from ordinary people's infected devices. Unlike corporate breaches that target databases, stealer logs go straight after individual users -- capturing passwords, email accounts, and the exact websites each victim was logged into. If your device was ever compromised by an infostealer, your credentials may be in this dataset right now.

Why This Is Dangerous

This breach is particularly damaging because every record contains plaintext passwords -- no cracking, no guessing required. Paired with email addresses and the URLs of services victims were using, attackers have an instant ready-to-use attack kit. They know who you are, where you bank, and what your password is. Credential stuffing tools can then automatically test these details across dozens of sites within minuttes of the log being published.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (service endpoints and API hosts)

Why This Matters

Everyday users are the primary target of infostealer campaigns because they often lack corporate-grade endpoint protection. When a stealer log like dadin_cloud surfaces, the 32,700 affected individuals face risks ranging from account takeover to identity theft to finanical fraud. Because most people reuse passwords across multiple sites, a single compromised credential can cascade into full account access across email, banking, and social media platforms simultaneously.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Infostealer malware infects devices through phishing emails, fake software downloads, malicious browser extensions, and cracked application installers. Once installed, it silently harvests every saved browser password, session cookie, and visited URL before transmitting the data to an attacker's server. The data is then packaged into log files -- named by the botnet operator -- and distributed through Telegram channels and dark web forums. Victims have no warning their device was compromised until accounts start getting locked out.
