HEROIC's DarkHive system discovered the DAISY CLOUD stealer log breach, exposing 18,435 records on January 11, 2024. The log contained email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs harvested from infected U.S. endpoints by infostealer malware and uploaded to Telegram via the DAISY CLOUD [NEW] channel. This was one of the largest single-day releases in the DAISY CLOUD series.

Why This Is Dangerous

At 18,435 records, this is one of the larger batches in the DAISY CLOUD series and represents a significant pool of immediately exploitable credentials. All passwords were captured in plaintext by infostealer malware, meaning no decryption or cracking is needed before attackers can test them across banking, email, and enterprise platforms. The API host URLs included in this dataset indicate infected devices had access to organizational infrastructure, raising the risk well beyond individual consumer accounts to potential corporate network exposure.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs and API host references from infected browser sessions

Why This Matters

This batch joins a multi-week series of daily DAISY CLOUD credential releases throughout January 2024, each adding new victims to an expanding pool of compromised U.S. users. The volume of this particular release makes it especially attractive to attackers running automated credential stuffing campaigns, as larger datasets yield more successful logins across target platforms. Identity theft, unauthorized financial access, and corporate account compromise are all realistic outcomes for victims whose credentials appear in this log.

How Stealer Logs Work

Infostealer malware infiltrates devices through phishing, malicious software, or compromised downloads. Once installed, it runs silently in the background capturing passwords stored in browsers, active session tokens, and the URLs of web services the user accesses. The harvested data is packaged into structured log files and transmitted to the attacker's infrastructure, then distributed on Telegram channels where subscribers pay for access to fresh credentials. The format is designed for automated processing, enabling rapid credential testing across many platforms at once.
