DaisyCloud-Championing Jun 5 2024: 8,807 U.S. Credentials in Day Five of Daily Release Run
HEROIC's DarkHive intelligence system detected the NEW_DAISYCLOUD-CHAMPIONING June 5, 2024 release, exposing 8,807 U.S. credential records on Telegram. This drop is part of a documented daily release pattern from this channel spanning at least June 1 through June 12, 2024 -- a twelve-day run producing tens of thousands of records across multiple batches. The June 5 data includes email addresses, plaintext passwords, and login URLs harvested from infected U.S. devices. This channel predates the better-known 2025 infostealer campaigns by over a year, demonstrating that organized daily Telegram credential distribution was an established practice well before the 2025 surge in tracked activity.
Why This Is Dangerous
Credentials in this release have been accessible to threat actors since June 2024. Plaintext passwords require no cracking -- anyone recieving this data can attempt logins directly. Thier combination of email address, exact password, and the specific URL where the credential was captured turns each record into a targeted account access package. Victims of this and other DaisyCloud-Championing releases who have not changed their passwords remain at full risk on any platform where those credentials remain active.
What Was Exposed
- Email Addresses
- Plaintext Passwords
- Login URLs
Why This Matters
Daily releases from a single channel compound exposure rapidly. The June 5 drop follows a June 4 release and precedes a June 6 release, forming part of a consecutive daily output pattern. Each batch adds fresh victims to the pool circulating in secondary markets, and each batch represents a distinct set of infected devices. Victims who reuse passwords across seperate platforms face risk on every service that shares the compromised credential. Anyone whose email appears in this cluster should immediatly change passwords on all associated accounts and check for signs of unauthorized access.
How Stealer Logs Work
Stealer logs are produced by infostealer malware distributed through phishing campaigns, malicious software downloads, and compromised browser extensions. Once installed, the malware captures credentials from browsers and applications and transmits them to attacker-controlled servers. NEW_DAISYCLOUD-CHAMPIONING operators compiled these harvested records and released them in a structured daily cadence through June 2024. The naming convention embedded in each file upload -- including the date and a sequence number -- confirms this was an organized, sustained distribution operation rather than an opportunistic one-time leak.
