HEROIC discovered 3,827 records exposed in the DumpsCloud2 17.09 stealer log breach on October 1, 2024. The September 17 variant surfaced on a public Telegram channel, exposing victim email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the exact API host URLs those credentials unlock.

Why This Stealer Log Is Dangerous

The DumpsCloud2 17.09 drop is pulled directly from endpoints infected with infostealer malware, so every password is real, recent, and usable. The inclusion of API host URLs alongside credentials gives attackers a shortcut to automated account takeover and backend service abuse. Because the log was published openly on Telegram, credential-stuffing bots can weaponize it within hours.

What Was Exposed in DumpsCloud2 17.09

  • Login credentials (usernames, passwords)
  • Browser cookies and session tokens
  • Autofill form data
  • Crypto wallet data (where present)
  • System fingerprints

The 3,827 records combine plaintext passwords with the specific service URLs they unlock, giving attackers an instant map of reusable credentials.

Why This Matters

Plaintext credential dumps translate into immediate fraud. Attackers typically test the username and password pairs against banking, webmail, and SSO portals within 24 hours of publication. If any user in this set reuses their password elsewhere, that entire account portfolio is effectively compromised the moment the Telegram file goes live.

How a Stealer Log Like DumpsCloud2 17.09 Works

Stealer malware such as RedLine, Vidar, and Lumma reaches victims through cracked software, malicious Google Ads, and phishing lures. Once installed, it scrapes browser-stored passwords, cookies, autofill entries, and crypto wallets, then bundles everything into a dated log. Operators rebrand and repackage those logs under aliases like DumpsCloud2 before releasing them on Telegram for reputation or paid access.
