In June 2026, HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log dubbed "Everlasting_Cloud_2" uploaded to Telegram by an anonymous user. The file held 8,680 records pulled straight from infected devices, pairing email addresses with plaintext passwords and the exact URLs those logins belong to.

Why This Is Dangerous

With this file in hand, an attacker does not need to guess passwords or run cracking tools. They can simply open the list, pick a target, and type the username and password straight into the login page. Because the credentials were stolen directly from a real device, they are often still valid on the day the log is uploaded.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the affected login pages

Why This Matters

Once an attacker has a working email and password pair, they can attempt the same combo across banking sites, email providers, and social media in a technique known as credential stuffing. A single reused password can lead to full account takeover, opening the door to identity theft and financial fraud that ripples well beyond the original site.

How Stealer Logs Work

Stealer malware typically sneaks onto a device through pirated software, fake game cracks, or malicious attachments. Once running, it siliently harvests saved browser passwords, autofill entries, and session data, then bundles everything into a log file. Files like Everlasting_Cloud_2 are usually shared for free or sold cheaply on Telegram, letting criminals grab fresh credentials with almost no effort.
