In July 2025, a Telegram user uploaded a stealer log file containing 17,638 comprimised records pulled from infected devices. The dump, known as the exclusiveful 342count collection, included raw endpoint credentials harvested by malware running silently in the background of victims' machines. This type of exposure is particularly dangerous because the passwords are stored in plaintext, meaning anyone who obtains the file can immediately use the credentials without any cracking required.

Why This Is Dangerous

Stealer logs are among the most actionable types of stolen data available on underground markets. Unlike hashed password dumps that require time and resources to crack, this breach exposed plaintext passwords alongside the email addresses and URLs they belong to. Cybercriminals can use this data to launch credential stuffing attacks, gaining unauthorised access to banking, email, and social media accounts within minutes of obtaining the file. The fact that this was distributed through Telegram means it spread rapidly to thousands of threat actors simultaneously.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (associated login endpoints)

Why This Matters

Stealer logs distributed through Telegram channels reach criminal communities at extraordinary speed. Within hours of a file being posted, automated bots begin testing the credentials across hundreds of popular websites and services. If you use the same password across multiple accounts, a single compromised credential can cascade into a full account takeover across your entire digital footprint. The 17,638 records in this dump represent real people whose online lives are now vunerable to exploitation by anyone who downloaded the file.

How Stealer Log Malware Works

Stealer log malware typically arrives through phishing emails, malicious downloads, or comprimised software installers. Once installed on a victim's device, it silently harvests saved browser credentials, session cookies, and autofill data. The malware then packages this information into log files and transmits them to a command-and-control server controlled by the attacker. These logs are later compiled, sorted, and sold or distributed freely through channels like Telegram, where they are shared among criminal networks looking for easy account access.
