Five hundred and thirty-eight login records. That's what a Telegram post revealed on June 19, 2025, tied to eyou.com, a Chinese email service, wrapped up in a stealer log with no fanfare and no warning to the people affected.

Why This Is Dangerous

Email accounts function as a master key for most people's digital lives, since password reset links for nearly every other service get routed straight there. A compromised eyou.com login doesn't just threaten that one inbox; it can become the starting point for taking over accounts across entirely different platforms, and nobody who owns one of these 538 accounts is likely to recieve a direct warning about it.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses tied to eyou.com accounts
  • Passwords saved in plaintext, ready to use without any effort
  • URLs pinpointing exactly where each set of credentials works

Why This Matters

Because email inboxes are so often the gateway to everything else, a leak this size deserves more attention than its record count might suggest. An attacker who gains access to just one of these 538 accounts can potentially reset passwords for banking, shopping, and social media accounts linked to that same address.

How This Kind of Leak Happens

Malware built to steal credentials doesn't target eyou.com specifically. It infects a device through whatever method works, a fake download, a malicious link, or a bundled pirated program, and then copies out every saved login regardless of which service it belongs to. The eyou.com accounts here simply happened to be among what was found.

Check If You Are Affected

An email account this important shouldn't be left unchecked. HEROIC's free scanner searches more than 400 billion (400B+) leaked records, covering stealer logs and breaches from services around the world, including eyou.com. Check your address, and if it's a match, change your password and enable two-factor authentication imediately.
