What happened with FILIPPFREE

On June 19, 2025, an anonymous Telegram user posted the FILIPPFREE archive into the channel's free distribution queue. FILIPPFREE is the open tier of a paid stealer log reseller operation, used to draw in new subscribers by offering partial feeds for free. The June 19 release contained 88,756 credential records pulled from infostealer-infected devices. Within hours the file spread to mirror channels and clearnet forums.

What data was exposed

Every record in the FILIPPFREE dump includes three fields: a victim email address, the plaintext password, and the URL of the service the login unlocks. Many of the URLs resolve to API hosts and internal web apps, which makes the dump useful for both automated credential stuffing and targeted account hijacking. Because FILIPPFREE is the free tier, attackers of every skill level can grab it.

Why the free-tier distribution matters

Paid Telegram channels limit the blast radius by charging for access. Free-tier drops like FILIPPFREE flip that dynamic. Anyone with a Telegram account can join, download, and start testing the credentials. That free distribution is what turns an 88,756-record dump into a mass exploitation event within days.

Who is affected

Victims are end users whose personal devices were infected by the infostealer families feeding the FILIPP network in 2024 and 2025. Common infection paths include pirated software, malicious YouTube description links, and fake Cloudflare or reCAPTCHA verification prompts that execute PowerShell payloads.

Steps to take right now

  • Change every password stored in a browser you used in the last 18 months.
  • Enable multifactor authentication, ideally with an authenticator app or hardware key.
  • Rotate API tokens, personal access tokens, and OAuth authorizations.
  • Run a full antimalware scan and consider wiping any suspect device.
  • Subscribe to a continuous stealer log monitoring service.
