A stealer log associated with Fire Cloud Free 1 was made publically available through the .boxed.pw Telegram channel, exposing data on 1,913 individuals. The leak occured on September 23, 2023 and included Email Addresses, Plaintext Passwords, and URLs collected from infected devices.

Why This Is Dangerous

Plaintext passwords in a stealer log remove every barrier between an attacker and the victim's accounts. No cracking software is needed and no time is wasted decoding encrypted hashes. When combined with email addresses and the specific URLs where those credentials were used, this log gives criminals a precise attack roadmap that can be executed immediately.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs

Why This Matters

Even a log of 1,913 records can enable hundreds of successful account takeovers if victims reuse passwords. Attackers use automated credential stuffing tools that test stolen pairs across banking, email, and shopping sites in parallel. Once inside an account, criminals can drain funds, steal personal data, or use thier access to launch further attacks against friends, colleagues, and employers.

How Stealer Log Works

Stealer logs are produced by malware that secretly installs itself on victims' devices through phishing emails, malicious software downloads, or infected websites. Once active, the malware harvests saved passwords, browser cookies, and a history of visited URLs, then sends the collected data to a remote server. The files are compiled into logs and distributed on underground markets and Telegram channels like .boxed.pw, where other criminals purchase or download them for attacks.
