A stealer log associated with Fire Cloud Free 2 was made publically available through the .boxed.pw Telegram channel, exposing data on 1,160 individuals. The leak occured on September 23, 2023 and included Email Addresses, Plaintext Passwords, and URLs stolen from compromised devices.

Why This Is Dangerous

Plaintext passwords paired with email addresses and service URLs represent the most immediately exploitable form of stolen credential data. There is no additional processing required before an attacker can attempt to use these credentials. The associated URLs indicate exactly which accounts and services are at risk, allowing targeted attacks to begin the moment the log is obtained.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords

Why This Matters

Credential stuffing attacks relying on stealer log data can compromise accounts within minutes. Automated tools test thousands of email and password combinations across hundreds of services simultaneously. For victims who reuse passwords, a single stealer log exposure can cascade into breaches of thier email, financial accounts, and work systems all at once.

How Stealer Log Works

Stealer malware is commonly distributed through phishing emails, fake software downloads, and malicious browser extensions. Once installed on a device, it silently extracts saved passwords, authentication cookies, and browsing history before transmitting the data to an attacker's server. These logs are packaged and uploaded to Telegram channels like .boxed.pw, where they are sold or given away for use in follow-on attacks.
