HEROIC analysts identified a stealer log file labeled FREE LOGS DATA CLOUD, tied to a leak dated 24 January 2024 and circulating on Telegram. The file contains 6,510 records of email addresses, plaintext passwords, and login URLs, offered up freely rather than sold, which typically means the data has already made the rounds among cybercriminals before being handed out to a wider audience.

Why the FREE LOGS DATA CLOUD Leak Is Dangerous

Being labeled "free" does not make this leak less dangerous, it often means the opposite. Free stealer logs tend to circulate widely and get picked up by more attackers than paid ones, since there's no barrier to accessing the plaintext email and password pairs inside. Each entry also includes the URL of the site the credential belongs to, so anyone who downloads the file can start testing logins immediately.

What Was Exposed in FREE LOGS DATA CLOUD

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the sites where credentials were entered

Why This Matters Even Years Later

Because this data traces back to January 2024, some of the 6,510 exposed accounts may already have changed passwords, but plenty of people never do. Old plaintext credentials are still used in credential stuffing attacks today, where the same email and password combination is tested across banking, retail, and social accounts. Reused passwords from years ago can still lead to account takeover, identity theft, or financial fraud right now.

How Free Stealer Logs Like This Spread

Stealer logs are generated when infostealer malware infects a device and copies every saved browser password along with the site it unlocks. Once collected, these logs are often sold privately at first, then eventually released for free on Telegram channels once their value drops, which is exactly the pattern behind a file labeled FREE LOGS DATA CLOUD.

Check If You Are Affected

Even years-old leaks like this one are worth checking, since a password you haven't changed since 2024 could still be sitting in active use. HEROIC's free breach scanner checks your email against a database of more than 400 billion leaked records, so you can find out quickly and update anything still at risk.
