HEROIC analysts discovered the Fresh Hotmail HITS Full Access 01.12 stealer log in December 2024, exposing 1,500 records including email addresses, plaintext passwords, and endpoint URLs. Labeled "full access" by the threat actor, this Telegram-distributed file contains Hotmail credentials confirmed to provide complete inbox control.

Full Access Means These Hotmail Passwords Are Confirmed Working

The "full access" label used by the threat actor indicates these credentials were tested and validated before sharing. Each of the 1,500 records represents a Hotmail inbox that attackers could fully control — reading messages, resetting other account passwords, and accessing any Microsoft services linked to the account.

1,500 Hotmail Inboxes Exposed to Full Unauthorized Access

An attacker with full Hotmail access can intercept security codes sent to the inbox, effectively bypassing two-factor authentication on any account that uses email as a verification method. They can also access OneDrive files, Microsoft 365 documents, and any third-party service that allows sign in with Microsoft.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Stealer logs are created by malware that silently runs on infected devices, capturing every password saved in browsers and applications. Fresh stealer logs — collected recently and not yet burned through heavy use — are more valuable in criminal markets because victims are less likely to have changed their passwords yet.
