HEROIC analysts spotted a stealer log file, again named "aglelan.txt" but this time bundled under the label "FRESH MIX MAIL ACCESS GOOD," uploaded to a Telegram channel on May 9, 2025. The file contains 4,045 records combining email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the websites those credentials unlock.

Why This Is Dangerous

The label "fresh mix mail access good" tells its own story: this is a recently harvested batch of credentials that the uploader has already confirmed grants working access to email or other accounts. That verification step matters, because it means an attacker isn't gambling on stale or dead logins. Every entry in this file is being marketed as a live way into someone's inbox or account right now.

What Was Exposed

  • Email addresses
  • Plaintext passwords
  • URLs of the sites the credentials were used on

Why This Matters

Email account access is especially risky because inboxes are often used to reset passwords for banking, shopping, and social media accounts. If an attacker takes over one of these 4,045 email accounts, they can potentially chain that access into other services through password reset links, turning a single stolen login into a much wider account takeover. Reused passwords make this risk even greater through credential stuffing.

How Stealer Logs Work

This data originates from infostealer malware that infects a victim's device, commonly through pirated downloads, malicious attachments, or fake software installers. The malware extracts saved passwords, autofill entries, and active sessions directly from the browser, then compiles them into a log file. Sellers often relabel and repackage these logs, as seen here with the "fresh mix mail access good" tag, to advertise freshness and reliability to buyers browsing Telegram channels.
