HEROIC Found 7,640 Exposed Records From GODELESS CLOUD in a Telegram Stealer Log

In August 2023, a Telegram user uploaded a second GODELESS CLOUD stealer log file to underground channels. This dump contained 7,640 records harvested from infected endpoints, exposing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and URLs. HEROIC's threat intelligence team identified the file as part of broader GODELESS CLOUD-labeled log activity circulating through Telegram-based credential sharing networks. The data represents a snapshot of victims' active sessions and saved credentials at the time their machines were compromised.

Why This Data Is Dangerous

Stealer logs with plaintext passwords and matching URLs give attackers a chain of access that goes far beyond the original breach. A single compromised email account can be used to reset passwords on banking sites, shopping platforms, and cloud services. The URLs in this log identify exactly which services were in use -- meaning attackers don't have to guess where to try the credentials. Once one account falls, the chain reaction can unlock email, then banking, then social media, and then anything connected through single sign-on or password reset flows.

What Was Exposed

  • Email Addresses
  • Plaintext Passwords
  • URLs (service endpoints and API hosts)

Why This Matters

The chained risk from a single stealer log entry is significant. One exposed email and password pair can unlock dozens of accounts through credential stuffing and password reset exploitation. API host URLs in the dump may expose business infrastructure and corporate access points. Victims who reused passwords across multiple services face cascading account takeovers that can spread from personal to professional systems. The risk does not expire when a breach occured -- stealer log data stays in criminal circulation for years. Identity theft, financial fraud, and unauthorized corporate access are all seperate downstream consequences of this single log file.

How Stealer Log Breaches Work

Infostealer malware silently infects victims' machines through phishing, malicious downloads, or trojanized software. Once running, it extracts saved browser passwords, session cookies, and application credentials, bundling them into a structured log file. The attacker receives this log and either uses it directly or sells it on dark web forums and Telegram channels where others can recieve and exploit the data. The GODELESS CLOUD name appears across multiple log uploads, suggesting organized collection and distribution activity by a recurring threat actor operating via Telegram.
