In July 2023, a Telegram user published a stealer log file tied to GODELESS CLOUD, placing 9,989 records in the hands of anyone who happened to be watching that channel. The exposed data includes plaintext passwords, email adresses, and API host URLs, the kind of combination that lets attackers walk straight into your accounts without having to crack anything first.
Why This Is Dangerous
Most breaches involve hashed passwords that require significant effort to crack. This is not one of those breaches. Once a device is infected, the malware scans browser password managers, saved form data, and application config files for anything that looks like a credential.
After collection, the malware compiles all harvested data into a structured log file and exfiltrates it to the attacker's command and control server. From there, the logs are often resold in bulk or, as occured with this GODELESS CLOUD dataset, uploaded directly to public Telegram channels for free distribution.
The victim rarely knows their device was infected. Stealers are engineered to run quietly in the background, often disguised as legitimate processes. By the time someone discovers the infection, their credentials have long since been harvested and shared.
