The GODELESS CLOUD Stealer Log Contains More Stolen Records Than a Small Town Has Residents
What HEROIC Found in the GODELESS CLOUD Stealer Log (August 2023)
In August 2023, HEROIC researchers identified a second stealer log uploaded to Telegram under the name GODELESS CLOUD. This file exposed 6,126 records containing email addresses, plaintext passwords, and the URLs of the services where each credential was active. Like other stealer logs tracked by HEROIC, this data was extracted from infected endpoint devices -- not from a company's servers -- meaning victims had no corporate notification channel to rely on for warning.
Why This Data Is Dangerous
A file containing 6,126 plaintext passwords is immediately exploitable. Attackers who recieve this data can begin attempting logins within minutes, targeting every service identified in the URL field. There is no technical barrier between the attacker and the victim's account -- no hash to crack, no obfuscation to defeat.
The email addresses in the dataset also serve as phishing targets. Attackers can use the known service URLs to craft convincing fake login pages or account alert emails that appear to come from services the victim actually uses, dramatically improving their success rate on follow-on attacks.

How Stealer Logs Work
Infostealer malware reaches victims through phishing emails, pirated software, fake browser extensions, and malicious ads. Installation is silent and immediate.
